CBeebies’ favourite young knight-in-training, Mike the Knight, is donning his armour in preparation to join the channel’s biggest stars in the brand new arena spectacular CBeebies Live! ‘Reach to the Stars’. Energetic, cheeky and driven by his ambition to help others, Mike the Knight has just been confirmed as part of the stellar line-up! A new addition to CBeebies, Mike the Knight galloped onto the channel on 31 October last year and the CG animated series very quickly became a hit with its young audience. Co-produced by HIT Entertainment (also responsible for Thomas & Friends, Bob the Builder and Fireman Sam), the series brings the excitement and enchantment of medieval times into the life of the modern pre-schooler. In each action-packed episode, Mike is driven by his passion to help others and, along the way, be the best knight he can be. Joining Mike the Knight will be Justin Fletcher MBE, Mister Maker, Postman Pat with Jess the Cat and the ZingZillas, together with CBeebies presenters Andy Day, Katy Ashworth and Andrew Agnew in this all-action show. Combining big screen video footage and live performance, a host of CBeebies favourites including Squiglet and Robbie Rotten, Stephanie and Sportacus from LazyTown will join in the fun, interacting with the audience for an incredible live experience. Robbie Rotten is determined to show that he is the biggest star on CBeebies! His dastardly plan involves the capture of the other CBeebies characters and it’s up to the audience to work with PC Plum and the rest of the stars of CBeebies to find out what has happened and set them free. Action-packed and full of surprises, the whole family will enjoy singing along and dancing in the aisles! With strong advance tickets sales and extra performances already added to the London and Glasgow runs to keep up with demand, CBeebies Live! ‘Reach to the Stars’ promises to be one of the hot children’s theatre tickets in 2012. This Easter show will begin its UK-wide tour at Wembley Arena on the 31st March 2012. It marks the first CBeebies Live! arena tour since 2008. More than 550, 000 people have attended a CBeebies Live! show to date and CBeebies Live! ‘Reach to the Stars’ is set to be an even bigger spectacular with an all-new show, massive video screen and more audience interaction than ever before!

Promoters have today unveiled some exclusive details of the Gillette Soccer Saturday Live tour which hits the road this March. Previously billed as “Soccer Anyday”, the tour has been renamed “Gillette Soccer Saturday Live” in order to build on the successful Sky Sports TV show.

And plans for the show are hotting up! These include the world’s biggest ever head to head football quiz, exciting and electrifying Q & A sessions, live and interactive games and activities, and hilarious panel debates. Footie fans can join Jeff, Kammy, Charlie, Thommo, Merse and Le Tiss as they reveal behind the scenes exploits and entertain with football stories past and present. Audience members can also ask the panel anything they like from the world of football. Very different from the TV show, Gillette Soccer Saturday Live is a unique opportunity for fans to become directly involved in the arena show action!

After entertaining millions of football fans every week, Sky Sports Gillette Soccer Saturday celebrates over 10 years on air.   And to celebrate in style Jeff Stelling and the Soccer Saturday Sky Sports gang are hitting the road for the FIRST TIME EVER. 

Saturday afternoons with Jeff Stelling, Matthew LeTissier, Paul Merson, Phil Thompson, Charlie Nicholas and Chris Kamara on Sky Sports have become unmissable for football fans across the UK. The live tour has been developed to meet fans insatiable desire to get up close and personal with Jeff and the team. 

The event is quite simply the best night out any football fan could have outside of a match day. In a hilarious and engaging roller-coaster ride of an evening, the panel will reveal personal anecdotes from their footballing and TV careers, from the ultimate highs to the crucifying lows and everything in between. Brimming with anecdotes and rare footage, the evening with will give a frank and rare insight into the crazy world of Soccer Saturday team. The last word of the night will always go to Paul Merson who will delight with a jaw-dropping anecdote of how NOT to manage a football club. And if you’ve never seen Chris Kamara sing you may be in for a treat!

There will also be exciting and electrifying live and interactive rounds where the audience can really engage with the panellists.  Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the world’s biggest ever football quiz anchored by Jeff Stelling. Merse and Le Tiss and Thomson and Nicholas will split the audience into two teams and battle it out to see who knows the most about football.  There will also be buzzer rounds with audience members will be invited on stage to help the pundits. Fans can also ask the panel anything they like about the football world including current team exploits. Brave attendees can even try to catch Jeff out with obscure facts and figures.

Dancing on Ice First Line Up Details

After wowing more than one million people across the country in previous years with stunning ice performances, skating legends Jayne Torvill & Christopher Dean will embark on a sixth live UK tour of Dancing on Ice – coming to Wembley Arena on April 17th
Torvill & Dean will be joined by Sugababe singer Heidi Range, X Factor singer Chico and reigning Dancing on Ice champion and actor Sam Attwater.
Current reigning Dancing On Ice champion and Ex-EastEnders actor, Sam Attwater displayed some of the most natural ability on the ice in the 2011 ITV1 series and live tour, working hard during each performance to impress the judging panel. Sam consistently pushed himself to achieve higher scores and more complex moves on the ice alongside his skating partner Brianne Delcourt.
Sugababes singer Heidi Range has performed at some of the UK’s biggest music venues and, with skating partner Andrei Lipanov, her winning smile and increasing confidence has gained her high scores on the ITV1 show every Sunday night.
Former X Factor contestant Chico is no stranger to performing in front of millions of people on television and is now proving to be one of the TV audience and judges favourites. Consistently climbing higher up the leader board each week, Chico and his skating partner Jodeyne Higgins have proved that he is as good on the ice, as he is on the stage.
All of the celebrities will be trained and choreographed by Torvill & Dean, who will also perform routines choreographed exclusively for the live tour.
